Serineh Eliasian is an Armenian-Iranian artist. Born in Tehran, Iran, she spent nearly three decades in the bustling city before choosing to repatriate to Yerevan, Armenia, where she now lives with her husband and their rescue dog. Serineh dedicates her time to both illustrating picture books and storytelling. Yasi and Mina’s Pomegranate Tree has a very deep personal meaning to her as her father played a significant role as a surgeon during the Iran-Iraq war.
