Mary Atwood is an illustrator and designer exploring color, solving problems, and creating work inspired by her travels, folklore, nature, and Taiwanese-American heritage. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, she moved to Seattle, Washington, to pursue her creative dreams--and has never looked back. She has enjoyed both in-house and freelance design roles over the past 10 years, illustrating and designing for a variety of projects including apparel, packaging, stationery, toys and, of course, picture books.
