Celebrating the Life and Work of Eve Bunting

Eve Bunting has been a beloved and cherished member of the Sleeping Bear Press family for many years, beginning with her early books with us such as My Mom’s Wedding, Finn McCool and the Great Fish, and the Frog and Friends beginner reader series. With each new book, Eve continued to amaze us with her ability to create a mesmerizing and memorable story that would connect with the youngest of readers, opening up new worlds for them to explore. Whether her intent was to inform (nonfiction) or to entertain (fiction), creating a book that engaged with her readers was paramount to her. Her gifts were boundless, and we are immensely proud to have been a part of her long illustrious literary career. And we are forever grateful to call her our friend.
