Author: Elaine Arsenault
Born in Montreal where she still lives, Elaine is a tenth-generation Arsenault from Québec of Acadian origins. She is the author of the chapter book series entitled L’or des gitans and of the picture book series Passepoil, which was short-listed and awarded numerous prizes both in Canada and in France. F is for French: A Québec Alphabet is her first nonfiction book and her first work that she’s written in both French and English.
Illustrator: Renné Benoit
Renné Benoit is the illustrator of numerous award winning picture books, including Proud as a Peacock and Brave as a Lion, winner of the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Award. Renné lives in Southern Ontario.
