His books include A is for America, Fibblestax, and Cosmo's Moon. Devin Scillian is an award-winning author, broadcast journalist, and musician. He presently anchors the news for WDIV-TV in Detroit. He has traveled the world covering news stories from Sydney to Siberia. His school presentations have inspired countless children to think of themselves as not only readers, but writers as well.
In addition to Memoirs of a Goldfish, Memoirs of a Hamster, Memoirs of an Elf, and Memoirs of a Parrot, Devin is also the author of numerous books for Sleeping Bear Press including the national bestseller A is for America: An American Alphabet. Award-winning artist Susan Guy is known for her colorful paintings of equine and western themes. Her work is displayed in numerous galleries and exhibitions across the country, such as the prestigious Arts for the Parks competition in Jackson, Wyoming, and the American Academy of Equine Art in Lexington, Kentucky. One of her paintings is also included in the permanent collection of the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona.

Melanie Rose's charming and lively oil paintings brought Canada vividly to life in Mike Ulmer's M is for Maple: A Canadian Alphabet. She has also illustrated Z is for Zamboni: A Hockey Alphabet and K is for Kick: A Soccer Alphabet. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, Melanie lives in Mississauga, Canada, with her son.
