Changing Spaces

The Changing Spaces series tells the stories of abandoned and forgotten spaces and the people who reshape them into vibrant community centers. Each project showcases a range of 21st century skills -- from "Flexibility & Adaptation" to "Creativity & Innovation." The series also shows how moving away from a tear-down culture towards one of reuse helps tackle a host of critical challenges facing our planet and population, including climate change, affordable housing, and sustainable food systems. Thought-provoking questions and hands-on activities encourage the development of critical life skills and social emotional growth. Books in this series include table of contents, glossary of key words, index, author biography, sidebars, and infographics.
